4 Exciting Day Trips from Canada to the United States

4 Exciting

Even though some would wonder why on earth you would ever want to leave Canada to travel to the United States, others have a whole load of US destinations on their bucket list.

Now, even though you may well be one of the fortunate ones who has all the time (and money) in the world to be able to travel back and forth for as long as and for as often, as you please, if not then you will definitely be interested in this article.

Here are four exciting day trips from Canada to the United States.

One of the most beautiful road trips you could take from Canada into the US follows the iconic Kansas Turnpike highway and will take you just over three hours.

Set off in the morning and by the time you arrive, head straight to the center of town and choose from one of the myriad restaurants, many of which are famous state- and country-wide.

After lunch, sports fans can enjoy races at the Kansas Speedway or, if you are in more of a retail therapy mood, hit the shops at Kansas City Legend Outlets

Next, in under a three-hour flight, you can transport yourself from Canada to the entertainment capital of the world: Las Vegas

Even though you would be much better off staying for the night as there is so much to see and do in Sin City; if you leave early and pack your most comfortable shoes, walking up and down the Vegas Strip will be an incredible introduction to the city.

Should you not fancy the bright lights and veritable assault on your senses that Las Vegas proudly provides to every one of its visitors, you could instead register with Prive City, a reputable and renowned online casino.

No matter how much of a Canadian you are and even if you love the thrill when your own country wins against the US in the various sporting games throughout the year, you simply have to visit New York and, more specifically, Manhattan Island.

Just a two-hour road trip northeast of Wichita will bring straight to the heart of Manhattan and if you are wanting that breathtaking first view of the area, make sure you enter through Exit 316 on I-70.

For the ultimate of Southern charm, staying in Wichita for just a couple of days will give you enough time to take a trip on the coach for around just $30 into the heart of Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma City National Museum & Memorial site is the best way to gain a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of the bombing incident years before.

Other stand-out tourist attractions in Oklahoma City include Bricktown, the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Myriad Botanical Gardens, Oklahoma City Zoo & Botanical Gardens, the Museum of Art and the 45th Infantry Division Museum.
